“ A pleasant discovery... we booked just 30 minutes in advance, and found a very friendly atmosphere. I had the best fries of my life! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with no trace of oil! A spectacular burger, sautéed chicory (excellent), bruschetta, water, beer, and coffee at a more than fair price. “ The place is somewhat intimate and puts you at ease. Karaoke nights are often organized on Thursday or Friday evenings. You wouldn't expect a high standard of dishes from a bistro, but for "291" this is not the case! The various appetizers are tasty, especially the montanare, the chicken wings and the pinse (I ordered the mushroom and sausage one). The tagliata with balsamic vinegar is excellent. Very kind staff. Highly recommended. ”

“ If I could give more stars, I would have.... You know I'm very honest... Family-run establishment... The super chef makes fried sage and fritters that are top-notch. The €20 platter is worth every penny. The cheeses, the freshest cured meats, and some specialties from the super chef are the envy of many platters in the area... I even found the amazing chickpea hummus and spoons filled with gorgonzola and walnuts, or the zucchini snakes and cream cheese... plus there's also a platter of fried foods with onion rings, mini supplì, potato and chicken croquettes, Ascoli olives, and, wow, wow, fried cream. We didn't have the classic aperitif, but a super fruity Ribolla Gialla wine from Voltis. The place is very nice, welcoming, and very clean. The girl is very kind and super smiley. Next time I'll try the dinner with burgers, house-made first courses, sliced meats, and salads. I won't miss anything. I wish you all the best, you deserve it. Keep up the good work. I'll definitely be back 100%, and I'll I highly recommend it to anyone who lives in those parts ”

The staff is always friendly and smiling... the chef is exceptional, offering excellent food ranging from tasty platters to pizza, first courses, and meat-based main courses... and the unmissable huge burgers. Craft beers, excellent wines, and all sorts of cocktails. Also open for lunch. It has a lovely outdoor space, stunning especially in the summer, surrounded by lanterns and lights. Themed evenings are organized down to the smallest detail... and karaoke is a must on Friday nights. They also host business dinners and private parties in the spacious indoor dining room... A place that lives up to every expectation without having to leave when traveling to Rome. A Fonte Nuova makes the difference. Highly recommended!!!! Congratulations ”
